Our newest adventure is moving right along, before you know it we'll be opening The Chirping Frog, an antique, collectibles, vintage, home decor, furniture, artisan wares and more shopping mall. I am also planning to host classes in a variety of fun topics; such as mosaic, hypertufa, jewelry making, paper arts, etc. Any artists out there looking to teach a class? I am so excited and a little terrified all at the same time. Here are some links if you're interested in following our progress:

Framing is finally underway and I'll be staining the trusses and decking this week. We spent last weekend getting it cleaned off and ready for stain. Here's all the decking.
It was a tight squeeze.
We scrubbed them with a borax solution and then sprayed them off.
Here's my work space this week. Let the staining begin.
Framing is underway. Half the building walls are laying on the floor ready to be raised on Monday, if the rain cooperates, I'm really sick to death of rain.
I have a feeling the remainder of this project is going to fly by and I've got a ton of particulars to figure out. The whirlwind continues. Can't wait to get this place up and running, it's going to be quite the adventure!
